Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Recruit4vets Ltd. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of inpatient care and assisting with surgical procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high standard of inpatient care, including ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of all patients.
  • Assist with surgical procedures, working closely with veterinarians to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Ensure cleanliness throughout the practice, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
  • Fulfill rota obligations, providing coverage during peak periods.

Daily Duties:

  • Admit and discharge patients for routine operations, ensuring seamless transitions between care phases.
  • Stay updated on preventative healthcare and practice policies, providing expert advice to clients.
  • Run nurse clinics, offering dedicated care and support to patients and their owners.
  • Dispose of clinical waste and maintain stock control, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Package:

This part-time position offers a salary up to £35,000 p/a, a competitive package that includes work-life balance, certificate support, VDS cover, RCVS fees, pension, and discounted staff pet care.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 1 in 4 Saturdays (a day off in lieu), with part-time positions available.
