PsiCon Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Mental Health Professional to join their team of experts in child and adolescent psychiatry. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments for children and adolescents aged 5-18, specialising in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting thorough developmental histories using preferred methods/tools to evaluate children undergoing autism assessments.
  • Conducting ADHD assessments.
  • Observing the child/young person during sessions and ensuring questions are asked in an age-appropriate and compassionate manner.
  • Reviewing ADOS reports, developmental history, and relevant collateral information from home and school in the same session.
  • Formulating a diagnosis, concluding the assessment, and providing feedback to the family in a kind, age-appropriate, and compassionate manner, including recommendations and signposting to local/national resources.
Benefits:
  • A competitive salary of £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, paid on a per assessment tariff outside IR35.
  • Flexible working hours, with up to four appointments per day, Monday to Sunday.
