Job Description

Auburn University is seeking a highly skilled Research Assistant to provide professional level assistance with ongoing research programs in the Department of Biosystems Engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing data collection protocols, maintaining sensors at various locations, and analyzing data from sensors installed on multiple equipment and buildings. They will also conduct on-site visits to manage sensors and relationships between the Auburn University Rural Partnership Initiative project and collaborative industries.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about research and want to contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the field of biosystems engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop data collection protocols and maintain sensors at various locations
  • Analyze data from sensors installed on multiple equipment and buildings
  • Conduct on-site visits to manage sensors and relationships between projects
  • Assist with implementation of the Ag Technology Certificate program
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in any STEM discipline and a valid driver's license.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, demonstrated technical excellence, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
