About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading classes with pre-planned cover when the teacher is absent, as well as providing additional support to students with SEMH and ASD needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead classes with pre-planned cover and ensure a smooth learning environment
  • Provide additional support to students with SEMH and ASD needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure student success
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure student needs are met
Requirements
  • Secondary school experience preferred
  • SEMH or ASD experience is essential
  • Full-time availability (5 days a week)
  • Patience, positivity, enthusiasm, flexibility
  • Confidence in leading groups of secondary aged students
