About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Special secondary school in the Swindon area. The successful candidate will provide support across classes in KS3 & KS4, working closely with the teaching staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general classroom support and 1-1 work in a variety of different subjects.
  • Support students with Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH) and ASD.
  • Be adaptable and flexible around the needs of the pupils.
  • Have experience of working with SEMH/ASD.
  • Feel confident in dealing with challenging behaviour.
  • Support students on a personal level as well as educational.
