We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Fostering Recruitment and Assessment team at Cheshire East Council.

As a key member of our Children and Young People Services team, you will be responsible for the delivery of our recruitment strategy for foster carers.

You will oversee the development and implementation of a robust annual foster carer recruitment strategy, ensuring that we attract high-quality candidates to become foster carers for our children.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and experience in fostering or a related field, with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

You will be creative and commercially aware, with a deep understanding of the fostering market and its challenges.

You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with applicants, foster carers, and other stakeholders.

As a qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration, you will be able to work independently and as part of a team, using your expertise to support the development of our foster carer recruitment strategy.

We offer a competitive salary of £46,649 - £54,049 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a generous holiday entitlement and access to training and development opportunities.
