Job Title: Special Education Needs Coordinator

Job Summary:

Grandir UK is seeking an experienced and dedicated Special Education Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join our team at our Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Chelmsford. As a SENCO, you will play a vital role in supporting and caring for children with special education needs and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between parents and staff for children with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Advise and support other Nursery Practitioners regarding children with special educational needs or disabilities
  • Ensure that appropriate Individual Education Plans are in place
  • Ensure that relevant background information about children with special educational needs or disabilities is collected, recorded, and updated
  • Keep up to date with initiatives and best practice

Requirements:

  • Relevant Level 3 SEND qualification
  • Additional training and support available for the successful candidate
