Job Title: SENCO

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SENCO to join our team at Grandir UK. As a SENCO, you will play a vital role in supporting and caring for children with special educational needs and disabilities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a liaison between parents and staff, advising and supporting other Nursery Practitioners, ensuring Individual Education Plans are in place, and keeping up to date with initiatives and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between parents and staff for children with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Advise and support other Nursery Practitioners regarding children with special educational needs or disabilities
  • Ensure that appropriate Individual Education Plans are in place
  • Ensure that relevant background information about children with special educational needs or disabilities is collected, recorded, and updated
  • Keep up to date with initiatives and best practice
