We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Manager to lead our Talent function in Belfast. As a senior leader in our firm, you will drive our talent strategy to achieve business success and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our Belfast partnership and Talent Director to shape our Talent Strategy, aligning with our firm's objectives.
  • Represent our firm at a strategic level, presenting to our partnership, external stakeholders, and promoting our firm as a people business.
  • Develop and implement our recruitment strategy, focusing on early careers recruitment, key lateral hires, and delivering on our firm's growth strategy.
  • Champion our diversity, equality, and inclusion values and practices, promoting a culture of belonging.
  • Manage key external partnerships, identifying opportunities that align with our firm's overall strategy.
  • Lead our reward strategies, conducting external benchmarking and providing recommendations to our partnership.
  • Conduct research and analysis of key employee data, using surveys, focus groups, and external market trends to inform retention and attraction strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Work collaboratively with our talent development team to ensure the professional development of all individuals, promoting progression and growth.
  • Provide counsel and oversee employee relations issues, ensuring professionalism and excellence.
  • Champion a high-performance culture, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance our firm's performance.

  • Manage our Talent function in Belfast, ensuring administration excellence and compliance.
Requirements
  • CIPD qualified
  • Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Broad knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, pay and reward, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of NI employment laws and regulations.
  • Evidenced experience of building strong collaborative relationships with multiple parties internally and externally.
  • Demonstrable evidence of shaping HR strategy for business success.
  • Effective leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on timing and method of communication dependent on the situation.
  • A passion for progressing diversity and inclusion.
