This is a modern care home designed for older people requiring residential and nursing care.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

As a Nurse, your key duties include:

  • Acting as a person in charge and standing in for the Manager where required
  • Ensuring high standards of care are provided to the residents
  • Leading the care team during your shifts and ensuring that the team meets the residents' medical, physical and emotional requirements
  • Mentoring and motivating colleagues to ensure effective running of the home
  • Championing residents' safety and dignity and driving continuous improvement within the service
  • Undertaking nursing tasks such as distributing medication, dressings, catheterisations, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions
  • Liaising with health and social care professionals to maintain a holistic approach to the care and well-being of the service users
  • Promoting the residents' independence, choice and dignity by delivering the best standards of care

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Passionate about delivering outstanding care to older people
  • Excellent organisation and leadership skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Able to show a can-do attitude always

The successful Nurse for this role will receive an excellent salary of £19.00 per hour and the annual salary is up to £43,472 per annum. We currently have permanent vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
