Your new company is a vibrant business based in Co Durham, with a fast-paced Head Office environment.

Your new role will be a crucial addition to the current structure, supporting the Financial Controller and mentoring the finance team. You will be responsible for accounting for key and complex contracts, preparing P&L and BS for each contract, and conducting budget variance analysis.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a newly qualified accountant looking for a challenging opportunity to take ownership of a role. You should be comfortable preparing management accounts and have experience with Excel. Analytical and communication skills are essential for liaising with non-finance Senior Managers and aiding their decision-making.

In return, you will have the opportunity to drive the business forward, utilising your accounting knowledge and skills to support the finance team and contribute to operational decisions.
