Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Research Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing line management and technical mentorship for RDSs within the team
  • Assisting the Head of Research Software and Analytics to set the strategic direction for the team
  • Collaborating with researchers across the university to design and apply computational approaches to extract knowledge and insight from data

The salary for this position is approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, which is competitive with industry standards in the UK.
