About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead the Tanker Services Logistics team at our Glasgow Head Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a one-team approach, generating plans, and controlling all tanker servicing activities within the Central Logistics Team.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Previous experience of leading and managing a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales
  • Experience of trouble shooting and solution finding with a positive and proactive approach
  • The ability to work to challenging timescales while driving and motivating the team
  • A background in creating process efficiencies and driving change
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel
  • Previous logistics experience and knowledge of the HGV sector would be beneficial
