About the Role

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead our Tanker Services Logistics team at our Glasgow Head Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a one-team approach, generating plans, and controlling all tanker servicing activities within the Central Logistics Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial awareness, the ability to drive sales, and experience in trouble shooting and solution finding.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Previous experience of leading a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to drive sales
  • Experience of trouble shooting and solution finding with a positive and proactive approach
  • The ability to work to challenging timescales and drive the team
  • A background in creating process efficiencies and driving change
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel
  • Previous logistics experience and knowledge of the HGV sector
