About the Role

The Role

GAP Group Limited is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team at our Glasgow Head Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the Tanker Services Logistics team, creating a one-team approach, generating plans, and controlling all tanker servicing activities within the Central Logistics Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial awareness, the ability to drive sales, and experience in trouble shooting and solution finding. They will also have the ability to work to challenging timescales, drive and motivate the team, and create process efficiencies and drive change.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience of leading and managing a team in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, and previous logistics experience and knowledge of the HGV sector would be beneficial. They will also have a positive and proactive approach, with the ability to work collaboratively with depots and achieve optimum operational efficiency at all times.
