We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school in the PR2 area of Preston. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pupils with special educational needs, including those with autism and physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting pupils with special educational needs in a primary school setting
- Leading the learning of pupils in a 'hub' environment
- Planning and delivering effective lessons to meet the needs of pupils
- Marking work completed during the day and keeping up-to-date records of pupil progression
- Ensuring the safeguarding of all pupils and upholding the school's ethos and values
- Relevant qualifications (TA3 or higher)
- Knowledge of the KS1 & KS2 national curriculum
- Classroom experience
- Two references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference)
