Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team at Devonshire. As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles and stacking empty pallets
  • Moving stocks and items of mail packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
  • Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following stock control instructions, and checking loads are secure
  • Performing daily equipment checks, recharging the truck's battery, and helping to load and unload trucks by hand where necessary
  • Performing other warehouse tasks, such as picking stock and moving it to the appropriate location on the factory floor, and dealing with stock returns
  • Disposing of waste, including bailing shredded paper waste or compacting

Requirements:

  • Previous Warehouse Operative experience
  • IT Literate and competent in the use of MS Excel
