Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Fellow to join our Upper GI surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in General Surgery and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with consultants and colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care.
  2. Supervise junior trainees and contribute to their professional development.
  3. Attend operating sessions and assist with major surgery.
  4. Liaise with patients and relatives regarding their care.

Requirements:
  1. Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice.
  2. MBBS or equivalent degree.
  3. Higher Medical Degree (MD or MSc).
  4. Peri or post CCT experience.

Working Conditions: The successful candidate will work across both Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley District General Hospital sites, with a 1:10 full shift system in operation. They will also participate in outpatient clinics and be expected to meet professional health requirements.
