Dietetics Career Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Dietitian to join our specialist Dietetic Team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within our expert Band 5/6 rotation, covering a range of clinical areas, including Diabetes, Critical Care, Burns, Upper GI and HPB Surgery, Haematology and Oncology, Renal and HEF. You will be supported by experienced Dietetic Team Leads and have excellent opportunities for professional and personal development within our department.

As a Registered Dietitian, you will have the ability to deliver high-quality nutrition teaching and training programs, and provide expert dietetic services to a clinical caseload in a designated specialty.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver nutrition teaching and training programs.
  • Provide expert dietetic services to a clinical caseload.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical and teaching practice.
  • Assist the Dietetic management team in ensuring high-quality patient care.

**Person Specification:**

Education and Qualifications:
  • BSc Nutrition and Dietetics or Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics (essential).
  • Current HCPC registration (essential).
Personal Qualities:
  • Positive and proactive attitude (essential).
  • Flexible and able to deal with conflict, aggression, and distressed patients and carers (essential).
  • Able to develop educational resources (essential).

**Estimated Salary:** £38,000 per annum (based on the UK average salary for a Registered Dietitian)
