We are seeking a Clinical Pathology Expert to join our team in the Blood Sciences department at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. As a leader in laboratory medicine, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and innovative research solutions.

About the Role

As a Clinical Pathology Expert, you will be responsible for working in line with all prescribed Standard Operating Procedures and Policies as directed and be involved in the review process. You will also be accountable for your professional actions and work independently for long periods of time without supervision.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have an IBMS accredited degree in Biomedical Sciences, relevant experience in Haematology, and current registration with the HCPC (Band 5/Band 6 BMS). It is desirable for candidates to have completed the IBMS specialist portfolio (Band 6 BMS) or be close to assessment.

Salary Information

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
