About the Role

The Clinical Team Manager will be a key member of the Early Intervention in Psychosis leadership team, responsible for caseload management and delivery of NICE-guided clinical interventions. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a defined staffing group and ensure compliance with statutory training and annual appraisal.

The successful candidate will have extensive post-registration experience in mental health care, with advanced knowledge of treatment techniques and good knowledge of recognised disorders and illness in the field of mental health. They will also have a strong understanding of the Mental Health Act and the practices of equality and inclusion in the delivery of this role.

Main Responsibilities

  1. To demonstrate clear leadership and support team members and clinicians in providing clinical management and support to develop the care and treatment of people with mental health problems in the community.
  2. To undertake professional supervision and caseload management for an agreed number of registered professionals within the integrated hub site.
  3. To support the team in developing and building effective communication between community services, wider mental health services, and with other agencies and services.
  4. To take appropriate lead action with regard to complaints and reportable incidents within the service as directed by the Trust's complaints and reportable incident policies.
  5. To contribute to and lead on the implementation of local and national objectives.
