About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Team Lead to join our team at The Westbourne Centre, a private day surgery facility in the heart of the Edgbaston Medical Quarter in Birmingham.

As a Clinical Team Lead, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional standards of clinical care to our surgical patients, while facilitating the best possible clinical outcomes. You will work closely with our clinical specialists to ensure the highest quality procedures, treatments, and patient experience for private, insured, and NHS patients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee day-to-day clinical activity of the OPD for the Outpatient Manager
  2. Assist in the rostering of staff to ensure efficient use of staff hours within the outpatient department
  3. Participate in clinical governance, ensuring audits are undertaken, and incidents/complaints are investigated
  4. Participate in care delivery, acting as a role model to ensure the highest levels of professional standards
  5. Optimise efficient use of consumables and stock levels
  6. Regular liaison with the maintenance department to ensure service dates for all outpatient equipment are adhered to and service contracts maintained
  7. Competent in the deployment of resources needed to sustain agreed activity levels
  8. Able to install positivity into the team and work together and support all staff members
