Investigation Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Investigation Analyst to join our team as a Forensic Evidence Investigator. As an Investigation Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into complex criminal cases, retrieving and reviewing CCTV footage, and preparing comprehensive case files for prosecution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into complex criminal cases using advanced forensic techniques
  • Analyze and review CCTV footage to gather evidence and identify key leads
  • Interview suspects and witnesses to build a strong case and establish credibility
  • Prepare detailed case files for prosecution, ensuring timely progression through the Criminal Justice system
  • Collaborate with other team members and integrate with existing Police operations to achieve shared goals

Requirements:

  • Possess PIP2 qualification or have equivalent experience working in a similar role
  • Familiarity with HOLMES software is desirable
  • Extensive experience in conducting complex criminal investigations, including analysis and interpretation of evidence
  • Strong understanding of forensic principles and techniques
  • Proficient in interview techniques for both suspects and witnesses
  • Experience in preparing case files for prosecution, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to procedures
  • Familiarity with relevant police IT systems, including databases and case management tools
  • Current security vetting clearance is essential, with a requirement to have resided in the UK for at least the last 5 years

Salary: £10.42 per hour (based on 16.50p per hour rate)

Location: Red Snapper Recruitment Limited

Estimated Salary: £38,856 - £41,583 per annum (£63,111 - £69,062 per year based on 40 hours/week)
