About the Role:

The role of the Data Governance Lead is crucial in delivering best-in-class data governance across for our clients. This involves using a variety of tools, practices, and processes to ensure that data is accurate, complete, and consistent. A strong understanding of ETL processes, SQL, and cloud-based backend data architecture is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work with Global, Regional, and Local ad ops & account teams to ensure that client guidelines, processes, and best practice rules are being followed and relevant taxonomies devised and implemented.
  2. Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships and communications.
  3. Devise and promote operational best practices across digital teams and to wider agency channels.
  4. Monitor existing processes to ensure ongoing improvements are developed and communicated.
  5. Collaborate with relevant parties (such as creative & web agencies) to drive operational efficiencies in ad-serving, reporting, and analytics e.g., via automated processes, deployment of modern technologies.
  6. Deliver new and maintain existing media performance visualization and reporting solutions.
  7. Work with the wider team to develop end-to-end solutions from scope development through delivery of the final product.
  8. Ensure that agreed service level agreements on trafficking, tag, and campaign management are being observed.
  9. Drive ongoing improvements to the data management process.
  10. Integrate new analytics tools and data sources into existing dashboards.
  11. Work with account teams to translate their client briefs into tangible outputs.
  12. Educate teams on best practice in taxonomy application, write documentation, and training guides.
  13. Contribute to the continued learning and development of the data governance discipline through skill sharing and mentoring of junior team members.
