Production Shift Manager Opportunity

MacGregor Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Production Shift Manager to join our client's team in the Huddersfield/Bradford area of West Yorkshire. As a specialist recruiter in the fenestration sector, we are excited to offer this exciting opportunity to a motivated and experienced professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production output, achieving daily production and quality targets
  • Attend daily production & handover meetings, escalating any urgent orders and checking 1st & 2nd runs
  • Plan daily schedules and report achievements / outputs and deviations
  • Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to SOPs and H&S regulations
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff, conducting performance reviews and managing returns to work
  • Manage stock levels and optimize inventory
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing systems and processes
Requirements:
  • Previous production management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Desirable: specific experience within the window & door sector, although training can be provided
  • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong people, communication, and motivation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Package:

Competitive salary of £40-45k DOE
