About the Role

We are seeking a highly strategic and collaborative individual to join our team as a Community Participation and Volunteering Lead. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the General Manager across the portfolio with key aspects of community engagement and participation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead on all strategic aims and plans related to working with collaborators in our communities, with the support of our Visitor Operations Managers, Countryside Managers, and Project Managers.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with property colleagues, partners, and collaborators in communities across the Northumberland Coast & Hadrian's Wall Country.
  • Use strong people skills to develop staff and volunteers with their confidence and capabilities in strategic areas.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and engage them with our strategic aims.
