About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health. This role is open to qualified and registered RMN, OT, or Social Workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with and access support from Neighbourhood Teams, Social Care teams, VCSE organisations, and the Living Well service to strengthen care and support.
  • Provide weekly slots for appointments and carry a small caseload from each practice within the PCN, assessing mental health and social care needs.
  • Promote the service, implement early intervention, avoid unnecessary medication, referrals, and hospital admissions, and support people to self-care.
  • Provide clinical and management supervision for a small number of staff.
