Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Hindley Primary Care Network Mental Health Team. This role is open to RMN, OT, and Social Workers.
The Senior Mental Health Practitioner will work closely with Neighbourhood Teams, Social Care teams, VCSE organisations, and the Living Well service to strengthen care and support. They will have the opportunity to request a keyworker role from the Living Well MDT for individuals with complex needs.
Main Duties
The Senior Mental Health Practitioner will offer weekly appointments, carry a small caseload, and assess mental health and social care needs. They will promote the service, implement early intervention, and support self-care whenever possible.
The Senior Mental Health Practitioner will also provide clinical and management supervision for a small number of staff.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Qualified and registered RMN, OT, or Social Worker
- Postgraduate training in a relevant subject
- Relevant post-qualification experience in mental health services
- Post-qualification experience of supervising staff
Desirable Criteria
- NMP or willingness to train
- Experience of working in primary care
