Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurture Teacher to join our team on a temporary contract in Gloucester.

  • The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of various Special Educational Needs (SEN) requirements, including complex needs and Autism.
  • This includes utilizing a range of teaching strategies and resources to engage students with Autism and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Closely collaborating with other educators, support staff, and external professionals to develop comprehensive support plans and interventions for students with complex needs.

Main Duties:

  1. Monitor student progress regularly, assess learning outcomes, and adjust teaching strategies to maximize academic achievement and personal development.
  2. Create a customized curriculum to meet the diverse learning requirements of each student.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A comprehensive understanding of various SEN needs, including complex and Autism, and the ability to adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for inclusive education.

The annual salary for this role is £31,446.
