Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Location: Gloucester

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to join our team as a Special Education Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education to students with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualised education plans tailored to students' unique needs.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons for students with SEN/SEMH needs.
  • Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students.
  • Provide targeted support and interventions to help students achieve their potential.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working with pupils with SEN/SEMH needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN policies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
