About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Compliance Manager to join our team at Drax Group. As a key member of our Trading and Generation teams, you will be responsible for ensuring delivery of consistent advice, guidance, and training in relation to wholesale energy.

With a strong background in regulatory affairs and a deep understanding of wholesale physical and financial markets, you will be able to provide expert guidance on compliance matters and support the development of policies and procedures.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, influencing and advising on key compliance issues and ensuring that our operations are in line with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert guidance on compliance matters and supporting the development of policies and procedures
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to influence and advise on key compliance issues
  • Ensuring that our operations are in line with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Education to degree level with a strong understanding of wholesale physical and financial markets and energy market regulatory framework
  • Significant experience working in a compliance team, preferably from the energy or financial services industries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop recommendations
