Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at Drax Group. As a Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business operations are in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Support our Trading and Generation teams in delivering consistent advice, guidance, and training on wholesale energy matters.
- Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to influence and drive compliance initiatives.
- Investigate complex compliance issues, including data gathering and analysis, to develop and present recommendations to senior leaders.
- Update policies and procedures, and develop monitoring/surveillance techniques to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Education to degree level with a strong understanding of wholesale physical and financial markets and energy market regulatory framework.
- Significant experience working in a compliance team, preferably in the energy or financial services industries.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- A discretionary bonus between 15% – 30% depending on company performance.
- Private Healthcare with Vitality.
- SAYE (Sharesave): discretionary scheme from time to time.
- Group personal pension plan where we'll pay up to 10%.
- Holiday 25 days plus bank holidays.
