Compliance Manager Role

Job Summary:

As a Compliance Manager at Drax Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with wholesale energy regulations. You will be responsible for supporting Trading and Generation teams, providing guidance and advice on regulatory matters, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to influence compliance practices.

About the Role:

  • Support Trading and Generation teams on wholesale energy regulations
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to influence compliance practices
  • Develop and present conclusions and recommendations to senior leaders
  • Use experience in investigations, data gathering, and complex analysis
  • Update policies and procedures and develop monitoring techniques

Requirements:

  • Education to degree level with understanding of wholesale physical and financial markets and energy market regulatory framework
  • Significant experience working with commercial teams, preferably in energy or financial services industries
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a compliance team
