Transport Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Transport Administrator to join our National Road Planning team based in RAND, Lincolnshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the administrative elements of our transport department are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Main Responsibilities- Assist with organizing MOTs, servicing, and inspections for our fleet of vehicles
- Ensure driver inductions, license checks, training records, and vehicle compliance are up to date and in accordance with company and legal requirements
- Manage vehicle insurance, tax, toll charge systems, and process and manage PCNs, fuel cards, driver contraventions, etc.
- Maintain and reconcile fuel supplies, internal and external, including fuel card management
- Route planning for CAT2 special types
- Ensure department compliance with the purchase ordering and goods received process to ensure accurate cost and utilization data is being managed
- Assist with maintaining the company's FORS accreditation to silver standard
- Production of internal and external reports and close monitoring of utilization - key measure
- Contribute to the success of the Plant and Transport department, supporting other team members as required
- Knowledge of transport legal requirements
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Good administrative, oral, and written communication skills, along with strong organizational skills for both reactive and proactive work
- Computer literate with Excel competence essential
- Good understanding of customer service expectations and excellent telephone manner
