As a key member of our Transport Investment and Programme Development team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of transport investment schemes and contributing to the growth and development of the East Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of transport investment schemes, including financial administration, documentation, data accuracy, project timelines, and project communications.
- Help schedule and coordinate team events, such as workshops and seminars.
- Support the delivery of project tasks within time and budget, including action and risk registers.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting agendas, minutes, and other key documentation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of office procedures, policies, and protocols.
- Draft and distribute communications, including emails, reports, and presentations.
- Collect, compile, and analyze transport and programme investment-related data for reporting and decision-making purposes.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience of organizing and delivering multi-faceted projects in a formal or informal project management capacity.
- Working knowledge of project management principles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with flexibility in the face of changing demands.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- The ability to work independently with initiative and as part of a team.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
