About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and caring individual to join our team as a Support Worker at Turning Point. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to live independently and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with daily living skills, including cleaning, cooking, and personal care
  • Encourage and enable individuals to participate in activities and hobbies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, their families, and other professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a high-quality service

Requirements

  • Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Manual handling and physical ability to support individuals with mobility needs
