Job Title: SEN Tutor

Job Type: Temporary

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN tutor to provide one-to-one support to children with additional needs. As an SEN tutor, you will work with children in their homes or a local area, developing their learning in Maths and English, and implementing behaviour strategies to keep them engaged.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and plan tuition sessions to meet the individual needs of each child
  • Provide one-to-one support to children with additional needs
  • Develop and implement behaviour strategies to keep children engaged
  • Work with children in their homes or a local area

Requirements:

  • Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or at least two years teaching experience)
  • Experience working with SEN/SEMH
  • Able to assess and plan tuition sessions
  • Enthusiastic, engaging, and resilient
