SEN Tutor Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Tutor, you will work with children with additional needs, providing one-to-one educational sessions in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality educational sessions to children with SEN/SEMH
  • Assess and plan tuition sessions to meet individual needs
  • Develop and implement behaviour strategies to support children's engagement and learning
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support

Requirements:

  • Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or at least 2 years teaching experience)
  • Experience working with SEN/SEMH
  • Ability to assess and plan tuition sessions
  • Enthusiastic, engaging, and resilient
