Employee Relations Specialist

Due to an exciting period of transformation and restructuring, our Co Antrim based client, a global market leader in their field, is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist for a 6-month duration. This is a highly varied Employee Relations opportunity and a critical role in supporting the organization through a merger process, ensuring continued engagement and effective resolution of people issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice and manage a busy caseload of informal and formal employee relations issues for both the UK and US jurisdictions.
- Support the design and rollout of new organizational structures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and HR leadership to address complex ER issues and mitigate legal risks.
- Analyze data related to employee relations, identifying trends and addressing concerns.
- Prepare reports for HR leadership, summarizing findings and recommending actions to improve employee relations.
- Recommend and implement appropriate corrective actions to resolve employee relations issues effectively.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in employee relations/HR, with proven experience in conducting investigations and handling complex employee relations issues.
- Experience in the application of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices across the UK and USA.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in change management and organizational transition.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Flexibility regarding working hours.
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility around start and finish time.
- Hybrid office and home working (2 days office/3 WFH).
