Sue Ross Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Estates & Legal Advisor to join their private client advisory team. This role is a key part of a busy and successful team and will play a vital role within the team, developing more junior members of the team where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of Estates, from start to finish, with support from more senior colleagues.
  • Support other colleagues in the team with the management of more complex Estates.
  • Prepare IHT returns for Estates where relevant.
  • Support the Estate Director with the management of the Estate team and processes.
  • Support with legal drafting of Wills and LPAs.
  • Support with the drafting of Trusts and other legal documents.
  • Review work of others and provide technical guidance.
  • Support business development work and develop relationships with referrers.
  • Manage projects from start to finish and ensure technical knowledge is up to date.
  • Develop junior members of the team and help them gain technical and practical experience.
