**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Community Resilience Team as a Community Resilience Support Officer.

**Salary:** £74 per hour

**Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan, monitor, and supervise the delivery of service to enable service users to live as independently as possible within the community.
  • To monitor, supervise, and mentor Support Workers and any delegated others in the delivery and quality of care.
  • To plan and ensure packages of care are delivered appropriately, in accordance with the outcome of assessments and the Council's eligibility criteria.
  • To monitor and ensure the quality and standard of professional practice and performance of service delivery is appropriate and in accordance with the National Care Standards.
  • To supervise, support, and mentor Community Support Workers and any other delegated others.

**Requirements:**

  • Recent experience of working in a Health/Social Care setting with supervisory or mentoring experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of supporting individuals who have learning disabilities and Autism.
  • Demonstrable understanding of main issues facing Community Care.
  • Experience of risk assessment process.
  • HNC in Social Care/SVQ3.
  • PDA in supervision or evidence of ability to obtain the qualification within 12 months of starting in post.
  • Competent in the use of IT systems, including Microsoft and bespoke IT systems.
  • Strong customer care skills and inter-personal skills.

  • You will be expected to travel efficiently between various work locations within Moray to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
