Job Title: Part time Waking Night Support Worker (Children's Home)
Salary: Up to £24,003.00 (based on full time hours)
Contracted Hours: Shifts 21:30pm - 7:30am, Tuesday & Wednesday night with the option of potential overtime
Location: Brighton

Responsibilities:

  • As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be a core part of a team that works together to provide outstanding care for young people with complex social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • You'll use the training and support provided as well as your knowledge and experience to offer genuine care, emotional first aid and a warm, homely and therapeutic environment to the young people living - helping them to build resilience and achieve their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to Level 3 in Health and Social Care or a related care field - ideally hold the Level 3 in residential care
  • Have a minimum of 1 year Support Worker experience within the care sector
  • Experience working with high risk and challenging behaviours
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
  • Committed to working within a therapeutic framework
  • Creative & able to use your own initiative
  • Possess good written, IT & communication skills
