Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our client's support package in their own home. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring our client's safety, well-being, and quality of life.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a 6-month probationary period, working 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our client, including administering medication, moving and handling, and assisting with daily living tasks.

Requirements
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this vacancy.
  • You should not have a cat allergy, as our client has a cat.
  • You should be happy to work in a smoking environment.
  • You will need to have a full UK driving licence, as you will need to drive as part of this role.
  • You should be prepared to commit to long-term care for one client in a 'person-centred' way.
  • You should be willing to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs.
  • You should respect Company policies and procedures.
  • You should be reliable, non-judgmental, caring, responsible, and compassionate.
  • You should be committed to confidentiality and treat the client with dignity and respect.
