Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care to our clients in their own homes.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a client who requires support with daily living tasks, personal care, and mobility. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing a safe and enabling environment, promoting the client's independence, and supporting them in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using hoists and other equipment as necessary.
  • Support the client with medication management and administration.
  • Encourage and support the client's independence, promoting their autonomy and decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively with the client, their family, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in care work, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure and a full UK driving license.
