About the Role

The Open Society Foundations are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to support the development of knowledge resources and communication strategies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain knowledge resources, such as manuals, training guides, and policy documents, to support Open Society's grantmaking software and policies.
  2. Work with the Policy, Knowledge & Training team to design and implement creative communication strategies and mechanisms to share resources with various audiences.
  3. Organize resources, information, and data into usable formats to meet the needs of end users, both within Grants Management and across the organization.
  4. Support the execution of communication strategies and mechanisms to share knowledge resources with diverse audiences.
  5. Stay up-to-date on grants management and grantmaking policies and procedures, and assist stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • University degree – BA or BSc
  • Experience in design and testing of training material
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, and experience with other knowledge management/sharing platforms

Desirable:

  • Experience as an effective teacher/trainer/facilitator
  • Experience working with a grant processing software/system (Salesforce or other CRM preferred)
