We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Management Specialist to join our team at the BBC Office - London Broadcasting House. This is a hybrid role, with a balance of office/location and home working.

Job Description:

This is a 9-month fixed-term contract, ending in August 2025. As a Resource Management Specialist, you will be responsible for organising feeds of material between domestic or worldwide sources and BBC areas, often under pressure and against deadlines. You will also allocate technical resources to bookings, arrange facilities as required, and maintain full and accurate data on facilities and resource usage.

Our team operates the three Contribution Radio Studios, as well as Network, EBU and Local Radio Bookings, NCA Studios Bookings, Financial recoveries, Schedule checking and reporting. You will work closely with the Tech Ops Scheduling Team and other media organisations and providers to ensure seamless collaboration.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Organise feeds of material between domestic or world-wide sources and BBC areas, often under pressure and against deadlines.
  • Allocate technical resources to bookings and arrange facilities as required.
  • Maintain full and accurate data on facilities and resource usage, collating and processing data to enable cost recovery to be carried out.
