Payroll Team Leader

We're seeking a highly skilled Payroll Team Leader to join our Head Office team in Bury. As a key member of our payroll team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless processing of payrolls for our 35,000 colleagues across various pay frequencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the completion of payrolls, including 5 Offshore payrolls, to meet key deadlines and SLA's.
  • Train and develop the payroll team on processing and legislative changes, monitoring their performance and providing guidance.
  • Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills to manage high-volume payrolls efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with CoreHR payroll software.
  • Previous experience with high-volume payrolls.
  • Strong understanding of payroll, benefits, and general legislation, including offshore legislation.
  • Excellent time management and coordination skills to lead the team to meet key deadlines.
