Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at RSK Group. As a key member of our @one Alliance, you will play a crucial role in providing commercial support to our integrated delivery team.

About the Role:

  • Commercial Management: You will be responsible for managing all aspects of commercial and cost management of a project or group of projects, ensuring robust cost management processes are always undertaken with accurate and timely reports, data, and analysis on hand to assist in commercial decisions.
  • Cost Control: You will work closely with the delivery team to identify, implement, and monitor efficiency plans throughout the lifecycle of a project or programme of projects, ensuring that operations are carried out to control costs, maximise value, minimise future liabilities, and maintain the required standard of quality and safety.
  • Contractual Arrangements: You will ensure that all project team members, including site staff, understand the contractual arrangements, to satisfy client and partner organisation requirements.
  • Record Keeping: You will maintain proper records, including final accounts, so financial information for audits and cost assurance is readily available.

About You:

  • Experience: You will have extensive experience in managing costs, with a degree in an engineering, management, or cost discipline being beneficial but not essential.
  • Skills: You will possess first-class customer service and leadership skills, with an in-depth knowledge of construction and safety, and be comfortable challenging processes, practices, and norms to improve the overall commercial offering to the business.
