Clearfield Recruitment is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to join their team in Colchester, Essex. As a key member of the Customer Care team, you will be responsible for ensuring that new home buyers receive exceptional aftercare following the purchase of their homes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer care within a developer or construction environment, with a strong focus on providing a 5-star service. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring personal and team compliance with all relevant SHE policies and procedures.
  • Fully adhering to the company's standard Customer Care policies and procedures.
  • Handling customer contacts professionally and courteously, with all issues appropriately recorded in the company's IT system.
  • Coordinating with colleagues to ensure the department provides continual telephone cover throughout the working day.
  • Liaising between Site Management teams, Customer Care Operatives, and external Sub-contractors to ensure all remedial works are completed efficiently.
  • Communicating with the Head of Customer Care to ensure all defects are dealt with by the appropriate personnel.
  • Utilising the IT system and associated reporting to manage resolution of defects and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaising with the Commercial/Buying departments to order materials and complete contra-charges where applicable.
  • Providing administrative support for the Department, including handling and responding to customer correspondence, electronic and paper filing, and production of reports.
