SRG offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Materials Scientist to join their team in Sandwich, UK.

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of practical work in a laboratory and executing experiments in a safe manner.

The ideal candidate will have gained a degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences, or alternatively have proven experience working in a pharmaceutical or chemistry laboratory.

  • Competitive salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum
  • Recent experience in relevant laboratory, analytical and characterization techniques:
    • Role will include routine application of techniques such as powder x-ray diffraction (PXRD), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), dynamic vapor sorption (DVS), Raman, IR, microscopy, laser diffraction, SEM.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design and complete experiments and analyses including salt and solid form screens, characterisation, crystallizations, and formulation.
  • Accurately and timely record experiments, data, and findings.
